Cove Residence

A concept study for a waterfront family home. The plan opens toward the water, with a long horizontal joinery wall that hides storage and frames the view. Linen sheers filter the afternoon light, and lime-plastered walls and honed travertine keep the palette quiet so the sea carries the colour.

Bedrooms pair the sheers with blackout linings for sleep, and the living room is grounded by a large wool rug. Finishes were chosen to cope with salt air and strong sun: stone and lime age well, and fabrics are selected for light-fastness. See our landed house interior design page.
